JFK airport is open and operational as of 1000 today.  The airport is using one runway as of now.  TSA employees should make every effort to report to work today- even if you will be late.  The street conditions are much improved and public transportation is running smoothly.  Those that have called out early and now can make it to work will be changed from sick to tardy if you are now able to come to the airport.  For those that did make it to work this morning the FSD has asked that I relay his deep appreciation for your dedication to duty.  As Emergency Employees you are required and expected to report for duty during these weather events but we still should say thank you.
