Due to scheduled maintenance, a partial
shutdown of the AirTrain JFK system from Federal Circle to Jamaica
Station will take place during the following period:
beginning Friday, November 6, 2015
at 10:00 PM through Saturday, November 7, 2015 2:00 PM
beginning Saturday, November 7,
2015 at 10:00 PM through Sunday, November 8, 2015 2:00 PM
beginning Monday, November 9, 2015
at 7:00 PM through Tuesday, November 10, 2015 7:00 AM
Free shuttle bus service will be
provided in both directions from Federal Circle to Jamaica Station.
AirTrain service will continue to operate normally from Federal Circle to
Howard Beach and Lefferts Blvd Stations, and the Central Terminal Area.
In addition, a partial shutdown
of the AirTrain JFK system will take place during the following period.
Beginning Tuesday, November 10,
2015 at 7:00PM through Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at
7:00 AM, there will
not be any Howard Beach service. Free shuttle bus service will be
provided in both directions from Federal Circle to Howard Beach and Lefferts
Blvd Stations. AirTrain service will continue to operate normally from
Federal Circle to Jamaica Station and the Central Terminal Area.
Beginning Wednesday, November 11,
2015 at 7:00 PM through Thursday, November 12, 2015 at
7:00 AM, and Thursday,
November 12, 2015 at 7:00 PM through Friday, November 13, 2015
at
7:00 AM, there will
not be any AirTrain service to the Central Terminal Area, and Howard Beach
Station. Free shuttle bus service will be provided from Federal Circle
to, and throughout, the Central Terminal Area. In addition, free shuttle
bus service will be provided in both directions from Federal Circle to Howard
Beach and Lefferts Blvd Stations and directly to the Central Terminal
Area. AirTrain service will continue to operate normally from Federal
Circle to Jamaica Station. Shuttle bus service will be provided using the
attached bus plan.
If inclement weather delays work, a
subsequent bulletin will be issued to revise the date and time of the shutdown.
