Due to airport construction activity, a partial shutdown
of the AirTrain JFK system from Federal Circle to Howard Beach and
Lefferts Blvd Stations will take place during the following period:
Beginning Friday, April 1, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. through Saturday,
April 2, 2016 at 1:00 p.m.
Beginning Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. through Sunday,
April 3 , 2016 at 1:00 p.m.
During this time, free shuttle bus service will be provided in
both directions from Federal Circle to Howard Beach and Lefferts Blvd Stations,
using the attached bus plan. At Federal Circle, passengers can transfer
to train service to all terminals. AirTrain service will continue to
operate normally from Federal Circle to Jamaica Station, and the Central
Terminal Area.
If inclement weather delays work, a subsequent bulletin will be
issued to revise the date and time of the shutdown.
